About
A real IT team for DFW's small businesses.
Most IT firms are built for enterprises. The 5-to-50-person companies that actually run DFW get stuck with rotating contractors, an inherited mess, or 'whoever's least busy' running the network. We're built specifically for that gap — engineering-grade IT operations sized for businesses that can't afford to hire a full-time admin yet.
The founder
Why we started this
I've spent the last decade-plus running IT infrastructure for organizations that range from small offices to industrial-scale operations. The pattern that kept coming up: small businesses need the same engineering discipline that the big shops get — backups that work, networks that don't surprise you, hardware that's been spec'd for the actual job — but the typical managed-services-provider pricing doesn't fit.
I started Yaeger Technologies to be a different kind of partner: one engineer who actually knows your environment, takes the work seriously, and stays accountable. No support tier, no rotating ticket queue, no "your call is important to us." If you reach out, you reach me.
The work spans the obvious — IT operations, breakfix, server maintenance, software configuration, PC and laptop builds — and the less obvious. We design and run crypto-mining hardware at scale because mining is, at the end of the day, an industrial workload, and it deserves the same operational discipline as a production data center.
The quiet bar for our work: when something goes right, you don't have to think about it. When something goes wrong, you know exactly who to call and they're already aware.
The work behind the work
Most of what you'll never see is the boring stuff that keeps things quiet.
Patch windows. Restore tests. DNS audits. Documentation rewrites at 9pm because someone is going to need it at 9am. The job isn't glamorous — it's careful. That's the point.

What we're good at
Capability over credentials.
We'd rather show you what we can actually do than count years on a CV.
Operations at startup scale
Designing and running infrastructure for 5–50 person organizations, where you can't afford either downtime or a five-figure-a-month managed-services contract.
Server & cluster work
Bare metal, virtualized (Proxmox, VMware, Hyper-V), and container workloads. Backups that are tested, monitoring that's actually useful, and changes that can be rolled back.
Hardware that lasts
From custom workstation builds to industrial mining-rig deployments. Specs matched to the workload, parts sourced sensibly, and a chain-of-custody process for anything sensitive.
Security as a default
SSO and conditional access on every tool that supports it. Identity hygiene, email authentication, secure data destruction, and the boring fundamentals that prevent the loud incidents.
How we work
Three principles we won't bend on.
-
You talk to the engineer.
Not a sales rep, not a tier-1 desk. The person scoping your project is the person doing the work and the person you'll reach when something goes sideways.
-
We don't take work we can't do well.
If you ask for something outside our wheelhouse, we'll say so up front and, where we can, point you to someone better suited.
-
Documentation is the deliverable.
Whatever we build, you get the runbooks. If you ever decide to take it in-house, you have everything you need to do that.
